Man United lost back to back games for the first time this season after a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa. They previously lost 1-0 to West Ham in the EFL Cup and suffered another 2-1 defeat to Young Boys in the Champions League. Everton bounced beat Norwich 2-0 at home to end their two-match losing streak. Luke Shaw could return for United after a recent knock. Harry Maguire (calf), Amad Traore (thigh) and Marcus Rashford (shoulder) will not feature. Richarlison (knee), Seamus Coleman (thigh), Fabian Delph (shoulder), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (thigh), Andre Gomes (calf) and Jordan Pickford (shoulder) are all sidelined for Everton.

There is decent value in the outright match winner market for the Man United vs Everton match on Saturday afternoon. The striker has hit the ground running at Everton, netting three in his last five, and Betfair are offering 13/2 odds for Gray to score again. One player that United need in their current slump is Cristiano Ronaldo, and the Portuguese cannot be ignored in the anytime goalscorer market. Ronaldo already has four goals in four matches for United, and Sky Bet will return odds of 5/6 for another striker from the Portuguese.
Even at this early stage of the season, United and Everton could go top of the Premier League with a win at Old Trafford this weekend.
