Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 Betting Tips

The Formula 1 season returns after the summer break with the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort this Sunday, so here’s our Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 Betting Tips. The McLaren duo of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris remain the benchmark at the front of the grid, but there’s plenty of value to be found further back in the pack. Charles Leclerc looks like a strong podium contender, while Liam Lawson could continue his upward trend with another points finish. Lights out is at 2:00 pm UK time, with live coverage on Sky Sports F1.

Form

The 2025 Formula 1 season has fast become a two-horse race between the McLaren leaders. Oscar Piastri heads to Zandvoort as the current Drivers’ Championship leader, sitting on 284 points with six race wins this season. Margins have tightened as the year has gone on, but the 24-year-old Australian has shown his elite ability to fend off fierce challenges and close out races. Lando Norris trails his teammate by just nine points in the Driver’s Championship. The Brit has won five races this season, including impressive victories at Monte-Carlo and Silverstone. Elsewhere, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen sits nearly 100 points behind Piastri in third after winning just one Grand Prix this season, while Mercedes’ George Russell is fourth on 172 points.

Race Winner Bet

Once again, it’s hard to look beyond the McLaren duopoly of Norris and Piastri dominating at Zandvoort. Despite winning more races throughout the 2025 season, Piastri has finished as runner-up to Norris more often recently. The Australian’s only win in his last three races came at the Belgian Grand Prix, and he has secured two victories in his previous six Grand Prixs. However, Piastri remains the narrow pre-race favourite at the Dutch Grand Prix, with Ladbrokes offering 6/4 odds. Before the summer break, Norris was the driver to beat. The Brit has sealed three of his race wins of 2025 in the previous four Grand Prixs. Although Norris lost to Piastri at Spa-Francorchamps, the 25-year-old hit back with a race victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix before the summer break. Norris’ confidence and consistency has grown throughout the 2025 season, and he looks well-placed to win in the Netherlands for a second consecutive season. There’s good value for a Norris win this weekend, with AK Bets offering 8/5.

Podium Finish Betting

Charles Leclerc has been one of the more consistent performers in recent weeks, chasing the McLarens in the Driver’s Championship. The Ferrari man has finished fifth or better in six of his last seven races, including four podiums during that stretch. Zandvoort has also been a happy hunting ground for the Monegasque driver, with two top-three finishes in his last two visits to the Dutch circuit. Given his form and strong record at this track, Leclerc looks like a solid podium finish option once again on Sunday. There’s pretty decent value on this outcome, too, with Coral offering 7/4 odds.

Points Finish Bet

It’s been a season of adaptation for Liam Lawson after his demotion from Red Bull to the Racing Bulls, but the young New Zealander has started to find his feet in the midfield battle. After struggling early on with five race finishes outside the top 10, Lawson broke through with eighth place in Monaco and has since finished inside the points in four of his last seven outings. Momentum is building, too, following back-to-back top-10 finishes in Belgium and Hungary before the summer break. Another points finish at Zandvoort looks well within Lawson’s reach if he can maintain that form, and Unibet’s 8/5 odds represent good value here.
